I've also been playing around with monoprints.
No carving, little planning, just experimenting and creating.
I like it.

After a second look while checking the link, a little more planning might be a good idea.

I love wood and would love to try doing some monoprints from a substrate of wood. So I am delighted to find your post here. It is not at all easy to find info on this process. I found you through the Baren group/ Do you know of any artists who make monoprints from wood. Have you done any using the process of applying the pigment with rice paste (as in moku hanga ?
enjoying your blog. The colors you use are very subtle which I like too.
